Answer: Just got mine in today. Mine came with the nice, metal like trim and the diamond-shaped lock. The only thing that's different is the middle piece came with a square, digital RH reader. Very happy that it did not come like Victors! -

Were these supposed to come with the shelving unit inside? Also, it didn't come with the wooden adapter to hold the digital humidifier reader...
Answer: Yes there was a wooden tray and a piece of wood pre-drilled for the hygrometer that came with mine. The pre-drilled wood worked as a handle for the tray. -

I just received mine. It looks great on the outside, however it appears to be locked and, if there is a key, the key must be inside. How do I open it?

Answer: Mine came with one. I've seen this exact same humidor at a local shop and it had a digital hydrometer. So I'm going to assume they are supposed to. -

Does the digital hygrometer have a way to switch to Fahrenheit?
Answer: My hygrometer came with Fahrenheit as its default. I don't know if it can be switched to Celsius. I would suggest buying a separate digital hygrometer that you can adjust though. Mine was +4 over relative humidity. If you don't want to buy a separate one, you can always salt test it and just remember the +/- -

I just received mine, but there are no instructions inside. How do I 'season' it and get it up to proper humidity?
Answer: Wipe down all the wood with distilled water and a sponge. Also, leave a cup of distilled water in the humidor. -

I received mine without the foam for the humidifier. Does anyone know what I can use in place of the foam?
Answer: Use humidifier beads in the jars. -

Is it Spanish cedar on the inside?
Answer: According to the research that I've done on this, the descriptions I've found state that it is Spanish Cedar.
