The Sorbothane Vibration Isolation Square Pad is a high-quality shock absorbing product. It is ideal for use for under a bed or a turntable to absorb vibrations caused by massagers or other appliances. There are 2 pads in a pack, each 4x4x.5 inches. It is soft with great quality and it's also easy to clean and doesn't retain any indents. Despite its qualities, it is not designed to be used under an office chair as it's extremely tacky. Although it helps a little with reducing the vibrations caused by a washing machine, it does not eliminate all of them, especially the highest frequency vibrations at high or very high spin cycles. What you want for limiting vibration is there, but it’s excessive for the price. For isolating vibration on the floor caused by the downstairs neighbor's A/C, there are other matting materials that come in 1/2 - 3/4 inch thickness, 3x3ft or larger squares that can be used.
