The Verbex Cat6 Keystone Jack 10-pack is a budget-friendly option for those looking to install network couplers. These keystones are compatible with Cat6/Cat5e/Cat5 standards, providing speeds up to 1Gbp/s, making them suitable for most network deployments. However, if your equipment has a capacity for above 1Gbp/s, you may need shielded keystones. The keystones are easy to install, but do not come with a tool to push the wires into the slots, which buyers will need to purchase separately. While the keystones work for flat (ribbon) cables, they will not work for Cat7 cables. The Verbex brand offers other color options, such as blue and black, but they are currently out of stock. Unfortunately, some customers have reported a negative experience with these keystones, including low quality, poor connections, and failed continuity tests. One commercial contractor had to pay $90/hour to replace all of the keystones with better quality ones. Another user reported that the RJ45 was so loose that the patch cords would make intermittent or no contact.
