Question:
Is this okay for puppies? What is the recommended age?
Answer: I have been using these for my labrador from about 6 months but I can't see there would be any problem with lower age. These are the only tennis balls I would use now as he is a tough chewer and these have never split or lost their covering. They are soft enough to chew yet tough. The only thing to watch is that they can get the plastic squeaker out and chew it. Just make sure you choose a size appropriate for your puppy's mouth. Oh and the rope doesn't last long if your puppy is a chewer!! -

What size would I need for a 6-month-old golden retriever? I'm guessing medium or large?
Answer: KONG recommends choosing the best-fitting toy by looking at your dog's weight. A size M is suitable for dogs between 7 and 16 kg, while a size L is suitable for dogs between 13 and 30 kg. -
Question:
How does this squeak? I've been squeezing it, but nothing happens?
Answer: We struggle to get it to squeak, but our dog, a Jackapoo, manages it every time.
