The Big Horn 18835 3-Phase, 220-240-Volt, 5-HP,12-18-Amp Magnetic Switch is an efficient 3-phase switch that performs well. The item is originated from China and is approved for water protection with an IP65 rating. The switch operates on 220-240 volts only which also answered a question whether it supports 235V, 400 Hz which it does. It is not UL approved and does not have a DC coil. This switch is internally wired to be started with one switch and stopped with another switch but can be started or stopped with pressure switches if wired correctly. It can only connect to one circuit hence remote connection is not available, one should Consult a certified electrician if they face any problems in the wiring process.
