The product does not work for new pools and it is best used after shocking. Customers should keep their chlorine levels up during the process to prevent more algae from growing. The product cannot be used in fish ponds as it is not safe. It is efficient in treating a large volume of water with a 32 oz bottle treating 24,000 gallons of water. However, for reducing phosphates, there are other products specifically made for that purpose. It is not recommended for pets to drink out of a pool treated with this product. Revive is fairly priced but has had some issues with busted packaging.
