Customer Questions & Answers

Question:
What surfaces can be treated with STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer?
Answer: STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is designed for natural stone surfaces such as granite, marble, limestone, and slate. It is particularly effective in enhancing the color and deepening the natural beauty of these stones. Additionally, it provides protection against staining and moisture infiltration, making it perfect for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, and outdoor patios. Consider using it in high-traffic areas or environments exposed to harsh weather for added assurance. -
Question:
How do I apply STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer?
Answer: Application of STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is straightforward. Start by cleaning the surface to remove dust and debris. Then, using a clean, lint-free cloth or brush, apply the sealer evenly across the stone surface. Allow it to penetrate for approximately 15-30 minutes before wiping off any excess. This ensures optimal protection and color enhancement. For best results, follow up with periodic reapplication, especially in high-use areas or where moisture is prevalent. -
Question:
How long does the effect of STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer last?
Answer: The effects of STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer can last for several months, depending on the type of surface and the amount of traffic it experiences. For instance, surfaces in kitchen areas may require more frequent applications than those in less-used spaces. Regular maintenance and cleaning will also influence the sealer's longevity. Scheduling reapplications based on the surface's exposure to spills or heavy use can help maintain its protective properties and visual appeal. -
Question:
Is STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer suitable for indoor use?
Answer: Yes, STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is safe and effective for indoor applications. It enhances the natural appearance of stones while providing a protective barrier against stains, making it ideal for interior countertops, backsplashes, and flooring. Its formulation minimizes unpleasant odors during application, allowing you to use it comfortably indoors. Moreover, it lasts long after application, ensuring your indoor spaces remain beautiful and protected. -
Question:
Can STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer be used on concrete surfaces?
Answer: While STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is primarily formulated for natural stones, it can be used on some concrete surfaces to enhance color and provide stain resistance. However, it is crucial to test a small area first to ensure compatibility and achieve the desired effect. This can be particularly beneficial in outdoor settings where concrete patios or pathways can benefit from improved aesthetics and protection against the elements. -
Question:
Does STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer change the texture of the stone?
Answer: No, STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is designed to enhance the color and depth of stone surfaces without altering their texture. Upon application, you can expect the stone to maintain its original texture while gaining a richer look. This is particularly important for those who appreciate the natural feel of their stone surfaces, as it complements both visual appeal and tactile experience, ensuring the integrity of the stone remains intact. -
Question:
Is STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer environmentally friendly?
Answer: STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer is produced with environmentally-conscious formulations, making it a safer choice for both users and surroundings. It is low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which means it releases fewer harmful emissions during and after application. Using such eco-friendly products can help maintain indoor air quality while protecting your stone surfaces. This is especially relevant for homes with children, pets, or allergy-prone individuals. -
Question:
Can I use other cleaning products after applying STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer?
Answer: It is advisable to avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaning products immediately after applying STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer. These products can compromise the sealer’s effectiveness and protection. Instead, opt for mild detergents or specialized stone cleaners that are compatible with sealed surfaces. This approach ensures the longevity of the sealer and maintains the stone's beauty for a more extended period, especially in areas frequently exposed to spills. -
Question:
How should I store STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer?
Answer: To maintain the quality of STONETECH Enhancer Pro Sealer, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keeping the lid tightly sealed will prevent contamination and ensure that the product remains effective when you need it. This is crucial for maximizing shelf life. If you have leftover sealer after application, proper storage can allow you to use it for future maintenance or touch-ups. -

StoneTech Sealers Editorial Review
STONETECH Enhancer ProTM Sealer, 1 Gallon/128 Oz is a highly effective solution designed specifically for enhancing and protecting natural stone surfaces like travertine and flagstone. Users appreciate how easy it is to apply, and it helps in enhancing the colors without overly darkening the stone's appearance, making it ideal for outdoor settings. However, it's important to note that reapplication may be needed after some time due to wear from harsh conditions. Many users have pointed out the need for careful application to prevent pooling and ensure even coverage, and although it comes at a higher price point, its effectiveness in protecting surfaces makes it worth the investment for many homeowners.
