Answer: They run true to size. I have a very wide foot and plantar fasciitis that requires good arch support and these are incredibly comfortable. They are the only shoe I can spend all day in comfortably. -

Are those bungee loops functional or decorative? Does the shoe open up for entry of foot?
Answer: They are functional. You have to loop them shut to make the shoe snug on your foot. You open them to put the shoe on. -

Are these slip resistant?
Answer: The shoes are extremely comfortable. Wore them all day the first day. Have had no issue with slipping. Stylish and comfortable. What else could you ask for? -

Should these be sprayed with a leather protectant spray for shoes? Or did you leave it alone?
Answer: I always spray shoes with Weatherguard. In addition to making water bead of the surface, it also helps to prevent staining from colored liquids. These leather shoes are compatible with the spray so I see no reason not to as it is beneficial. -

Are the toes soft or hard?
Answer: Not real hard nor real soft. They are just right for everyday winter shoes. This is my 5th pair of these exact same shoes and I just ordered a pair for my granddaughter and she loves them. They are super comfy yet have good support. -

Answer: Taos Encore shoes were made in China. -

Are they made in Spain?
Answer: I think they are made in the USA but not sure. They are very well made. -

How many inches is the heel?
Answer: I wore my shoes out! I’m guessing a good inch. -

Arch support?
Answer: Love these shoes....as soon as I wear a pair out I order a new pair of exactly the same kind. I am currently on pair #4. Real good arch support and shoes are extremely comfortable and easy to get off and on.
