This manual downrigger does not have a line counter, but every wheel turn is equivalent to one foot of cable. The bracket will fit on a 12-foot aluminum boat with some additional blocking for protection and stabilization. The spool can hold up to 350 ft with regular cable and can hold 200 ft of 195lb. The maximum weight is six pounds, but it can still support larger fish. Customers are generally happy with the product and the company's service, especially with Eric's exceptional customer service. Some customers replaced the steel cable with power pro braided 150 lb test line. The clamp might not fit some boats, and there seems to be an issue with the ball weight breaking off quickly, but these drawbacks do not diminish the product's overall performance.
