The KEYESTUDIO MEGA Sensor Shield V1 is an excellent accessory for Arduino MEGA 2560 R3 prototyping projects. It provides access to all pins on the Mega board and allows input and output to sensors and drivers. While this board only handles logic level signals and cannot drive power loads directly, it can send output signals to an H Bridge motor driver module that provides high power to the motor. The shield is compatible with a 3v board like the due if the PWR_SEL jumper is removed and the 3.3v is jumpered into the VCC terminal block. It is also easy to check sda/scl pins on the upper right corner of the shield. Customers have reported that this shield simplifies connection of motor drivers and encoders, and the isolation of circuits is an added advantage. Some have found the lack of block schematics and poor documentation to be a drawback, and the absence of a 3.3v pin has caused problems for some. However, most were satisfied with their purchase and would recommend it to others.
