Bobco Metals 4 Heavy Duty Weldable Hinges are designed for heavy gates and doors. These hinges are extremely sturdy and made of heavy steel. Welded very smoothly, they have minimal slop with larger center pins. However, the ears are relatively thick, which makes them not recommendable for indoor use. They come in pairs of two with a thickness around 3/16” and are coated with pickled oil. The heavyweight of the hinges easily supports a large heavy-duty smoker door, and they can be used for outdoor applications like antenna towers, corral gates, and wood stoves. However, they're not suitable for outdoor use since they're rust-prone.
