The kit comes with an 80, 120, and 240 grit wheel, which work well with a handheld drill or a benchtop drill press. The maximum RPM for the sanding star is 12,000. The shank is only around three inches long and replacement sanding discs are available. Users need to note that the flap wheel works better if the sandpaper is completely cut. The grit size could be stamped on the "flat" sides of the wheels to make it easier for buyers to identify. The direction of the drill's rotation must always be "towards" the end of the molding. Users can avoid propelling the piece across the room or even causing damage to the wheel. Overall, customers seem pleased with the product.
