Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: What are the main features of Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro 24V White LED Strip Lights?

Answer: The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro features 60 LEDs per meter, producing a bright, consistent 4000K cool white light over a length of 32.8 feet. This LED strip light is designed for flexibility, allowing it to be easily installed in various settings, from under cabinets to accent lighting in living spaces. Additionally, the ribbon is made with high-quality materials that ensure longevity and durability. Use it to create ambient lighting in your home or to enhance your workspace, offering both functionality and style.
  • Question: How do I install the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights?

Answer: Installing the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights is a straightforward process. Start by cleaning the surface where you plan to install the tape to ensure a secure bond. Then, simply peel off the adhesive backing and press the strip firmly onto the desired area. For more complex lighting setups, consider using connectors or channels available from the manufacturer. These lights are ideal for enhancing ambiance in kitchens, entertainment areas, or even for mood lighting in bedrooms.
  • Question: Can I cut the Armacost LED strip lights to fit specific lengths?

Answer: Yes, the Armacost LED strip lights can be cut to fit your needs. Each strip comes with designated cut lines at regular intervals, ensuring neat and clean cuts. Before cutting, make sure to determine the length you need to achieve the desired look in your space. This feature makes it versatile for a range of applications, such as installing custom lengths under shelves or around furniture, making it easy to achieve a seamless fit.
  • Question: What type of power supply do I need for the 24V LED strip lights?

Answer: The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro requires a 24V power supply to function correctly. It's essential to ensure that the power supply matches the voltage and wattage specifications needed for the length of the strip being used. Typically, the power supply should be rated 20% higher than the total wattage of all connected strips. This is important to avoid overheating and ensure reliable performance, especially when using longer runs of lights.
  • Question: Are the RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights dimmable?

Answer: Yes, the Armacost RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights can be dimmed if used with an appropriate dimmer switch designed for 24V LED systems. This allows you to adjust the brightness levels to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion, from bright task lighting to soft ambient light for relaxing evenings. For optimal performance, ensure the dimmer is rated for the total load of your LED strip to avoid flickering.
  • Question: What are the best applications for these LED strip lights?

Answer: The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights are incredibly versatile and ideal for multiple applications. They can be used for under cabinet lighting in kitchens, as accent lights in living rooms, or for illuminating pathways. Their flexibility makes them suitable for both residential and commercial spaces, allowing you to enhance ambiance or provide functional lighting where needed. Consider them for creative projects like lighted shelves or custom design elements in home decor.
  • Question: Do these LED strip lights come in different color temperatures?

Answer: The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro currently features a cool white color temperature of 4000K. This temperature provides a bright, clean light that closely resembles natural daylight, making it perfect for task-oriented areas such as kitchens and offices. While this model specifically offers 4000K, Armacost also has other lines with varying color temperatures, ensuring you can find the right light for your specific space preferences.
  • Question: How energy-efficient are the Armacost LED strip lights?

Answer: The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights are highly energy-efficient, using significantly less power compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. LEDs convert about 80% of their energy into light, which means lower electricity consumption and reduced energy costs. This makes them an excellent choice for both environmental considerations and budget-friendly lighting solutions in residential or commercial applications.
  • Question: Can these LED strip lights be used outdoors?

Answer: While the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro LED strip lights are designed primarily for indoor use, they can be used outdoors if protected from direct moisture and extreme weather conditions. To utilize them outside, consider using waterproof channels or enclosures. They’re perfect for adding ambiance to patios or garden areas, but it's advisable to ensure they are adequately shielded for safe and effective use.
