ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal Compatible with Ford Ranger and Ranger Raptor 2019 and Newer

**Editorial Review of the ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal** The ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal is gaining traction among customers who seek a neat and dust-free environment in their truck beds, particularly those who frequent rougher terrains like gravel and dirt roads. Many users appreciate the product, recalling positive experiences with it on previous vehicles. One customer even bought the seal again for a new Ford Ranger after a successful run with it on an old truck, signaling strong brand loyalty. Installation seems to be a critical step to achieving optimal results, with several users having to carefully align the seal to tackle the design vagaries of the Ford Ranger tailgate. While the instructions provided are clear, achieving a perfect fit requires patience and precision, especially when it comes to addressing the tailgate's large gaps and curves. Some users mentioned needing additional weather stripping or caulk to close off gaps entirely. The seal generally performs well in keeping the bed clean and dry, especially during inclement weather. Users have noticed significant improvements in maintaining the condition of their cargo and minimizing dirt infiltration. However, the product's adhesive under harsh conditions raises some concerns, with users unsure of how well it will hold up over time. Notably, there are mixed reviews regarding compatibility with newer models; some users found it didn't fit the 2024 Ranger perfectly, indicating potential discrepancies in sizing for different production years. In summary, the ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal can effectively enhance the functionality of your truck bed when correctly installed, although some users may need to take further steps to achieve complete sealing. **
